STRICTLY NO BYO. We conduct random bag searches on entry. If caught, you will be refused entry or if caught inside the event, escorted out. You will not be invited to following editions. DON'T SAY WE DIDN'T WARN YOU... We also apply a ZERO tolerance policy towards aggressive and uncontrolled drunken behaviour.

Why is glass prohibited?

To avoid potential accidents and littering of broken glass, ACT venues and Licensing Police have demanded that our guests bring non-disposable polycarbonate wine glassware.

Is there an option to rent tables and chairs?

No. In line with Le Dîner en Blanc’s heritage, all of guests are asked to embrace the participative nature of the event and bring their picnic equipment, including their furniture. There are a lot of creative ways to bring it all to the venue. Visit our News section on our website or our Facebook page for inspiration i.e. foldable trolleys.
